The Emperor Has No Clothes

By Billie Daddario

The bright green lawn

The purple petunias

The boys playing ball they are all missing

The emperor has no clothes.

There are no children playing in the park no squeaking swings

No squealing children playing in the park only yellow tape

The emperor has no clothes.

We sacrificed the old

Arguing who’s to blame

The emperor has no clothes.

They are coming for our children

Are there acceptable numbers

The emperor has no clothes.

There will soon be 200,000 dead

The emperor has no clothes.

The emperor has no clothes.

Listen to me please

The emperor has no clothes..
